Impact
The wider mission of Bio-Leadership Project is to help change the story of human progress by working with, and for, nature.
Central to this vision, the Bio-Leadership Fellowship is a way of connecting inspiring and courageous people and projects, helping them make breakthroughs in their life and work.
And the impacts of this work are rippling out.
The ‘at-a-glance’ story so far
We have run 4 cohorts of the Fellowship programme since 2021:
We have brought together 150 Fellows from around the world, each working towards life-centred shifts across different sectors of society.
We have grown our team and faculty to 8 international Fellowship hosts and over 40 guests and speakers, each a beacon for earth centred leadership around the world.
We have received funding to begin our first youth-led leadership initiative which aims to fill the skills and capacities gap in our dominant education system of nature-led leaders.
We co-initiated and co-lead the Earth Funding Lab, an initiative to help funders work more collaboratively together to support more systemic impact towards ‘economies that serve life.’
We are hosting our first online programme in Portuguese in 2024, with plans to host a Spanish-language programme in the autumn.
We have helped multiple new fellow collaborations lead to new initiatives in the world, on topics including:
regenerative leadership and organisations;
nature-based learning in schools;
regenerative design in the built environment;
nature connection and play in the arts;
making regenerative principles accessible to all;
supporting the Rights of Nature movement;
bringing Queer Ecology into leadership;
and much more beyond.
We are connecting and sharing knowledge with wider innovation networks, including Nora Bateson’s ‘Warm Data’ community, the Three Horizons community, and others.
And we have supported, initiated, and catalysed a number of impact projects across the globe. Head to our ‘Projects’ page to learn more.
